Dentsply international was founded as Dentists’ Supply Company in 1899 in New York City, and Sirona Dental Systems was founded in 1877 in Erlangen, Germany. In 2016, Dentsply International and Sirona Dental Supplies merged. Dentsply Sirona is one of the largest suppliers of dental supplies and technologies throughout the world. They have operations in 40 countries allowing them to have sales presence in over 120 countries. They have a huge R&D sector comprising of 60 scientists and engineers. Dentsply Sirona offers a wide range of products in many areas such as: orthodontics, implants, prosthetics, endodontics etc.
